      Hello Eugenia, this is WikiKenko,

Reviscon Plus is an intra-articular injection that contains a 1.6% hyaluronic acid solution (32 mg/2 ml). It is used to prevent pain and motion limitation in all synovial joints caused by degenerative and traumatic changes. It is indicated in cases that had an inadequate response to non-pharmacological conservative therapy and simple analgesics.

Reviscon Plus masks the pain receptors by forming a layer of hyaluronic acid. It helps stimulate new hyaluronic acid synthesis by stimulating synoviocytes and chondrocytes. It also has a filter function that allows the passage of cells needed by cartilage, synovium, and synovial fluid while preventing the infiltration of inflammatory cells. By its shock-absorbing effect, it smooths the force of sudden movement and preserves the joint. It also prevents destructive molecules such as proteases, pro-inflammatory cytokines, and free oxygen radicals from reaching cartilage and synovium due to its barrier function. It contributes to the preservation and construction of joint cartilage and synovial membrane.

Reviscon Plus is an intra-articular injection. Intra-articular injections are usually administered by a healthcare professional. I would recommend consulting with a doctor before using Reviscon Plus or any other medication.

Cyberchondria

The truth is that when we’re sick, or worried about getting sick, the internet won’t help.

According to Wikipedia, cyberchondria is a mental disorder consisting in the desire to independently make a diagnosis based on the symptoms of diseases described on Internet sites.

Why you can't look for symptoms on the Internet

If diagnoses could be made simply from a textbook or an article on a website, we would all be doctors and treat ourselves. Nothing can replace the experience and knowledge of specially trained people. As in any field, in medicine there are unscrupulous specialists, differences of opinion, inaccurate diagnoses and incorrect test results.
