      Hello Naia, this is WikiKenko.

Parlodel SRO is a slow-release capsule that contains the active ingredient bromocriptine. Bromocriptine is an agent that binds to one of the receptors where dopamine, a substance that mediates between nerves in the brain, binds to tissues and shows dopamine-like activity. It also inhibits the secretion of prolactin, a hormone that causes milk to be released from the breasts from the anterior lobe of the pituitary gland, a small gland at the base of the brain.

Parlodel SRO is used in the treatment of several conditions including Parkinson’s disease, prolactinoma (a benign tumor in the pituitary gland of the brain that secretes prolactin hormone), acromegaly (a condition where there is an excess of growth hormone in the blood), excessive secretion of prolactin hormone in men [which can lead to a decrease in sperm count, decreased sexual desire and impotence], menstrual cycle disorders and infertility in women [such as amenorrhea (not having a period at all), oligomenorrhea (having very little menstruation) and galactorrhea (milk coming from the breasts) which may accompany them].

According to my sources, Parlodel SRO is a prescription medication. As for side effects, I would recommend consulting with your doctor or pharmacist for more detailed information. Parlodel SRO is a prescription medication , so you would need to consult with a doctor and obtain a prescription before purchasing it from a licensed pharmacy.

Cyberchondria

The truth is that when we’re sick, or worried about getting sick, the internet won’t help.

According to Wikipedia, cyberchondria is a mental disorder consisting in the desire to independently make a diagnosis based on the symptoms of diseases described on Internet sites.

Why you can't look for symptoms on the Internet

If diagnoses could be made simply from a textbook or an article on a website, we would all be doctors and treat ourselves. Nothing can replace the experience and knowledge of specially trained people. As in any field, in medicine there are unscrupulous specialists, differences of opinion, inaccurate diagnoses and incorrect test results.
