1 review for Otaci Bitkisel Pastil Diyet Oka Mentol

  1. Anna

2 packs of OTACI BITKISEL PASTIL OKA MENTOL shipped to Sweden.

I visited Turkey for the first time with my family 30 yeras. My father got a bad cough and went to the pharmacy to get some relief. He ended up buying a pastille called OKA MENTOL. This is by far the best throat pastille we have ever tried and there were not a single pack left at the pharmacy when we left Turkey. Since then we have asked friends and relatives travelling to Turkey to bring them back to us but lately this has failed. I believe OTACI BITKISEL PASTIL OKA MENTOL is the same product (or maybe a replacement), is that true? In any way, I would like to try them and also buy a sample for my parents. Best regards.

      Hello Anna, this is WikiKenko.

Otaci Bitkisel Pastil is a herbal pastille produced by Otaci. One of their products is the Diyet Oka Mentol pastille which contains eucalyptus and has an antibacterial effect. This property helps reduce the risk of catching severe upper respiratory tract infections. It also contains cough grass extract which coats the mucous membrane like a layer, protecting the throat against physical and chemical irritations, increasing secretion amount and helping to reduce coughing. It is produced with isomalt instead of sugar, so it has 40% lower calories (5.9kcal/pastille) and is also suitable for diabetics.

Adults can take up to 16 pastilles per day and children aged 2-12 can take up to 8 pastilles per day. The pastille should be dissolved in the mouth. I suggest consulting with a doctor or pharmacist before using it to make sure it’s safe for you to use.

I’m sorry, but I couldn’t find any information about where to buy Otaci Bitkisel Pastil in Sweden. You could try contacting Otaci directly to see if they have any retailers in Sweden or if they ship to Sweden. Alternatively, you could try searching for online retailers that ship to Sweden. Besides, you can try to purchase it online from the Otaci website or other online retailers that sell Otaci products. I hope this helps and that you and your parents will enjoy the pastilles!

Cyberchondria

The truth is that when we’re sick, or worried about getting sick, the internet won’t help.

According to Wikipedia, cyberchondria is a mental disorder consisting in the desire to independently make a diagnosis based on the symptoms of diseases described on Internet sites.

Why you can't look for symptoms on the Internet

If diagnoses could be made simply from a textbook or an article on a website, we would all be doctors and treat ourselves. Nothing can replace the experience and knowledge of specially trained people. As in any field, in medicine there are unscrupulous specialists, differences of opinion, inaccurate diagnoses and incorrect test results.
