Usage
Enfexia is prescribed to treat the following infectious diseases:
Respiratory Tract Infections: Enfexia is highly effective in treating pneumonia, sinusitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, acute bronchitis, and acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis (AECB), and otitis media.

Urinary Tract Infections: Enfexia is used to treat urinary tract infections caused by susceptible bacteria.
Uncomplicated gonorrhea: iist also used to treat uncomplicated gonorrhea in cervical/urethral regions.
How it Works
Enfexia works by interfering with the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall, leading to cell lysis and death of the bacteria. Like all beta-lactam antibiotics, it binds to specific penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs) located inside the bacterial cell wall. This leads to the inhibition of the third and last stage of bacterial cell wall synthesis. Cell lysis is then mediated by bacterial cell wall autolytic enzymes such as autolysins. It is possible that it interferes with an autolysin inhibitor.
Side Effects
Enfexia is generally well-tolerated, but like all medications, it may cause side effects. Common side effects of it may include:
- Diarrhea
- Stomach pain
- Gas
- Heartburn
- Nausea
- Vomiting
It is important to note that this is not a complete list of side effects, and others may occur. If you experience any adverse effects, it is important to consult your doctor immediately for medical advice.
