      Depo-Dilar 20mg is a medication that contains 20mg Parametazon Asetat per ampule. It is used to treat a variety of conditions such as rheumatic, collagen, dermatological, allergic, ophthalmic, respiratory system, hematological, neoplastic, gastrointestinal diseases and edematous conditions.

      It should not be used in cases of osteoporosis, active peptic ulcer, psychosis, acute infections, hypersensitivity, systemic fungal infections, viral hepatitis and should not be used with live vaccines. It should also be used with caution in cases of congestive heart failure, diabetes mellitus, renal failure, uremia, bacterial and viral infections, glaucoma and myasthenia gravis.

      The starting dose is 10-40 mg and its effect lasts from 4-7 days to 3-4 weeks. The maintenance dose is adjusted according to the patient’s condition. For local treatments, 0.5-1 ml is injected locally into the affected area.

      Depo-Dilar 20mg is a prescription medication. You should consult with a doctor before using it.

      Some side effects may include pain and swelling after intra-articular injection.
