Ultravist 300 is an iodinated contrast agent used for intravenous procedures such as angiography, arteriography, ventriculography, aortography, venography, urography, and Computed Tomography (CT). Inadvertent intrathecal administration may cause death, convulsions, cerebral hemorrhage, coma, paralysis, arachnoiditis, acute renal failure, cardiac arrest, seizures, rhabdomyolysis, hyperthermia, and brain edema.
