Onzyd Agizda Dagilan Tablet 8 Mg is an orally disintegrating tablet that contains 8 mg of ondansetron hydrochloride (ondansetron HCL) as its active ingredient. Ondansetron is a serotonin (5HT3) antagonist, which means it blocks the action of serotonin at the 5HT3 receptors in the brain and gut, thereby preventing nausea and vomiting.

This medication is primarily used to treat nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy and radiotherapy. It is also effective in preventing and treating postoperative nausea and vomiting.

Excipients and Dosage

In addition to the active ingredient, Onzyd Agizda Dagilan Tablet 8 Mg also contains several excipients such as mannitol, sorbitol, crospovidone, colloidal silicon dioxide, microcrystalline cellulose (E460), aspartame (E951), strawberry flavor, sodium stearyl fumarate, and magnesium stearate.

The recommended dose for treating nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy and radiotherapy is one 8 mg tablet taken orally 1-2 hours before treatment, followed by another 8 mg tablet taken 12 hours later.

Precautions

As with any medication, there are precautions to consider when using Onzyd Agizda Dagilan Tablet 8 Mg. It should not be used by individuals who are allergic to ondansetron or any of the other ingredients in the product. Caution should be exercised when using Onzyd in individuals with intestinal obstruction, severe constipation, heart rhythm disorders, or liver failure.
