      Prakten Syrup is a sedating antihistamine with antimuscarinic, serotonin antagonist and Ca channel blocking properties. It competes with histamine for H1-receptor sites on effector cells in the GI tract, blood vessels and respiratory tract. It is used to relieve allergy symptoms such as watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes/nose, sneezing, hives, and itching. It may also be used to relieve the itching of allergic skin conditions.
