Description

Effectiveness

A study published in the International Journal of Surgery investigated the effectiveness of Collagenase clastridiopeptidase, an enzyme preparation used in enzymatic debridement, in preventing adhesions caused by peritoneal damage. The study included a total of 40 rats divided into four groups. Group 1 was the control group, Group 2 was the normal saline group, Group 3 was the Sterile Novuxol group, and Group 4 was the group where the intraperitoneal and systemic effects of sterile Novuxol were investigated.

The results of the study showed that the adhesion stage of the Sterile Novuxol Group was significantly lower than all the other groups. Biochemical and hematological parameters were similar in all groups. Histopathological analysis revealed no hepatotoxicity. Therefore, the study concluded that it can be a good anti-adhesive agent considering its ease of use, non-toxicity, and effectiveness.

Side Effects

According to clinical use, no allergic sensitivity or toxic reactions have been noted when Sterile Novuxol Pomade is used as directed. However, there is one reported case of systemic manifestations of hypersensitivity to Novuxol in a patient treated for more than one year with a combination of Novuxol and cortisone. It is important to note that this is a rare case and further research is needed to determine if this is a common side effect.

In the same study investigating the effectiveness of collagenase in preventing postoperative intra-abdominal adhesions, it was observed that Sterile Novuxol did not cause any histopathologic change in the hepatic and peritoneal structure. This finding further supports the safety of it.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Sterile Novuxol Pomade is an effective anti-adhesive agent that can be safely used as directed. It is a non-toxic and easy-to-use option for preventing adhesions caused by peritoneal damage. While there is one reported case of systemic manifestations of hypersensitivity to Novuxol, it is a rare occurrence, and Sterile Novuxol Pomade has not been observed to cause any significant side effects in clinical use.

Cyberchondria

The truth is that when we’re sick, or worried about getting sick, the internet won’t help.

According to Wikipedia, cyberchondria is a mental disorder consisting in the desire to independently make a diagnosis based on the symptoms of diseases described on Internet sites.

Why you can't look for symptoms on the Internet

If diagnoses could be made simply from a textbook or an article on a website, we would all be doctors and treat ourselves. Nothing can replace the experience and knowledge of specially trained people. As in any field, in medicine there are unscrupulous specialists, differences of opinion, inaccurate diagnoses and incorrect test results.
